Racketball interest on the rise
Saturday, 15 May, 2010, 9:31 am - Events
Malcolm is running "taster" Racketball sessions and a lot of interest is being generated. It is easier to play than squash and Malcolm can provide the equipment initially.
The game can be geared to whatever standard you wish as there are 2 types of balls / one of particular interest to current squash players.
If you want to "have a go" or just watch sometime then give Malcolm a ring or email him from this website.

John Jameson - Dies 4th November
Sunday, 8 November, 2009, 12:38 pm - News
MEMBERS OF THE TAVISTOCK SQUASH CLUB WILL BE DEEPLY SADDENED TO LEARN THAT JOHN JAMESON DIED ON WEDNESDAY 4TH NOVEMBER.
HE WAS A LOYAL SERVANT TO THE CLUB, ORGANISING CLUB NIGHTS AND COMPETITIONS AND WAS THE PERSON WHO TOOK THE TIME AND EFFORT TO DEVISE, CONSTRUCT, TEST AND IMPLEMENT OUR ON-LINE BOOKING SYSTEM. THIS IS JOHN’S LEGACY AND WE ARE FORTUNATE TO HAVE SUCH A FANTASTIC SYSTEM AT OUR DISPOSAL.
AS A KEEN SQUASH PLAYER, HE WAS A STRONG LEFT-HANDER, WHO ALWAYS TRIED HIS HARDEST AND NEVER GAVE UP. HE LIKED NOTHING MORE THAN LONG, TIGHT RALLIES, WITH PLENTY OF DEADLY DROPS AND TOOK DELIGHT IN CUNNINGLY DISGUISED SHOTS.
HE WAS ALWAYS ENTHUSIASTIC AND CHEERFUL AND ENJOYED THE CAMERARDERIE AND BANTER THAT WENT WITH BEING A MEMBER OF THIS CLUB.
HE WILL BE SADLY MISSED BY US ALL.
PETE WALSHE - CHAIRMAN
